The role
- Manage and develop bookkeepers, client managers and trainees
- Plan client compliance work and prepare accounts
- Manage workflow, allocation and strict deadlines
- Deal with HMRC and other external bodies
- Look after client records and enquiries
- Report to and contribute in senior management meetings
You’ll bring
- ACCA or ACA qualified, with 2+ years post-qualification
- 5+ years in an accounting practice
- Strong accounting standards and tax knowledge
- Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Dext
- Able to manage and train a team
